A physician by day and a singer-songwriter by night, Fabien Bonnefoy leads his Mister Goodfaith project with the same dedication, sensitivity and commitment he brings to both sides of his life.

​

Born in Paris and now based in Quebec, he discovered Mark Knopfler’s guitar playing and the world of Dire Straits at the age of 16, before immersing himself in the Southern Rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd. His many travels across North America later introduced him to New Country through artists such as Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert. From this journey between Paris, Quebec and Nashville emerged a distinctive musical identity: authentic, melodic and deeply human Modern Country Rock.

Mister Goodfaith builds his songs around universal themes: love, the open road, resilience, life choices and the strength to keep moving forward through adversity. Rock guitars, country influences and an instantly recognizable voice bring powerful yet sensitive songs to life.

Following the release of his debut album, Big Mistake, in 2018, and Back In Town in 2021—both mixed in Nashville by F. Reid Shippen—Mister Goodfaith continued to evolve through increasingly personal songs and a steadily more defined artistic identity.

On stage, Mister Goodfaith expands into a five-piece band driven by generous, organic energy. From intimate venues to festivals, every performance aims to create a direct connection with the audience. In 2024, the band opened for American artist Dave Fenley, marking an important milestone in its journey.

In June 2026, Mister Goodfaith released There’s No Angels, a six-track EP that fully reflects the project’s current maturity. Blending rock energy, Nashville-inspired sounds and deeply human storytelling, the EP opens a new chapter for Mister Goodfaith.
